SPORTS DAY

The annual sports day at gvhss koyilandy took place on 12/8/2024 to 13/8/2024, bringing together students, teachers and parents for a day filled with excitement, competition,and team spirit.The event was held on the school grounds,with various activities planned for students of all age groups. The day started with an impressive opening ceremony, where the principal delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and physical fitness.The national anthem was sung,and the school band performed to set the tone for the day's events. The sports day featured a wide range of athletic events, including track and field races,long jump, high jump,and team sports like football, basketball and relay races.The students were divided into different houses or team,and the competition was fierce yet friendly.Each participant gave their best, displaying determination and perseverance.

The plis two students of our school recently went on a tour to Kodaikanal,a beautiful hill station in tamilnadu.The trip was not just about sightseeing and enjoying the scenic beauty but also about learning now things and experience new adventures. One of must existing experiences for the students was trucking they got a chance to drive a truck on the hilly needs of Kodaikanal in way a thrilling experience for them as they had never drive were given a chance to derive it themselves. A part from trucking the students also went a nature-walks,visited the famous Kodaikanal and went on a track to dolphin's nose which is a popular view point Kodaikanal the students also visited various other tourist attraction like the blegant park.
